It really sucks that a lot of you weren't able to get in for the stress test. I just want to say that I recognize that that wasn't fun and you didn't have a good experience. This is why @Warcraft has stress tests. So when the real thing happens you can actually play the game.
This was a big experiment for them to see if the Classic builds and servers could handle it, to give them data to help prepare and iterate and make changes for the better. If you logged in and got stuck or couldn't make it in, you gave them that data.
There are teams of people at @Blizzard_Ent that appreciates that you attempted it because they have more information now. Yes it sucks, but you're helping make the launch better. I'm sorry you didn't get in, nobody at Blizzard actually is happy that you couldn't play the event.
Take a breather, and think about what a stress test actually is and realize that you helped provide the Classic team exactly what they asked you for. They know you want to play and they're working hard to make it ready in time for you.
They have to test things, things are going to break, and we're helping with that process.
The biggest thing is that most people haven't vanilla in 15 years and yeah they recognized it was a stress test, but a glimpse of their game gets stripped away from them in 24 hours. More than likely would have to wait another 3 months.
It's a bummer I couldn't join in on the fun, but it definitely showed them the problems that would happen as you said. So hopefully we won't have that on launch 
I just figured that the crew wanted to provide a true classic wow experience...

I think what has caused quite a few people to get a big miffed is that the big streamers seemed to get priority over them. As someone else that replied to you said, they wanted their one shot before the game came out, and these guys already get to play as much as they want.
Personally, I'm not THAT salty, but it would have been nice to be a apart of the chaos the Devs unleashed at the end.
