Being able to switch to a game from 2005 OG Xbox game to a 2014 Xbox One game in less than 30 seconds on the same console, while picking up where you left off in both sessions, is pretty crazy to me.

Depends on the game. Some games don’t support it at the moment. Others likely require some sort of activity or it just boots you back to the main menu, so I assume that’s where it would start you back.
