There’s stuff to criticize about Hogwarts Legacy and JK Rowling.
Let’s actually do so analytically and not just use clips of people who barely know how to play the game and make blanket statements.
It’s odd, be genuine and think critically, please.
I also think people have been unfairly using clips of people playing the game very poorly (or just outright misrepresenting things, such as the game’s inventory screen) to dunk on the game.
Combat is pretty fun imo, this is from the first few hours with early spells.
Is it perfect? No, there are some things I was disappointed by. However, the things it does well, it really excels at and creates an authentic, immersive experience that will keep players coming back for countless hours.
I've been playing Hogwarts Legacy for the last week for review.
I'm not done with it yet, but it is really damn good so far. I didn't expect it to match its ambition, but it comes really close.
Next week will be the first new episode of The Last of Us that I have seen in two months.
HBO only gave me access to the first 4 episodes, so I have been sitting on that cliffhanger since early December.
Troy Baker and Neil Druckmann did a secret shoot between #TheLastOfUs games, creating a backstory scene for Joel Miller.
Full interview on tonight's new episode of The Last of Pods!
once again reaffirms my thinking that The Last of Us is somehow an incredibly simple and straightforward story, but something about it breaks the brains of like 60% of people who consume it and results in some of the most absurd misreadings imaginable.
If you think The Last of Us is about zombies then you're as brain dead as one. It's always been a story about love under circumstances that push people to the brink, about the extremes of light and dark humanity is capable of. Then again what would this chode know about love?

Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker stopped a girl from marrying a hot astronaut on her own wedding day by simply being mysterious and awkward as hell.
That’s why he’s MY Spider-Man.
