I haven’t posted for ages but today I got an email saying my acc’t was locked rofl @Epigrammist I deleted it to unlock it b4 checking how old it was but I reckon 6+ years. So either some automation trashbot is running or some ass troll is digging thru 100k+ of my old tweets 🤪
A screenshot of being told by Twitter that my account was locked for violating t&c for hateful comment. I wrote a 1-word hashtag reply which said something mean about boomers and this site is just so bad at moderation lol

My local sitting politician distributed a how-to-vote card with preferences and names but no info on which parties those names belonged to. Always feels to me like a cynical 'just vote like this, you don't need to know who they represent' tactic that turns me off.

Sigh, Apple legal (via customer support) politely told me to go fuck myself instead of paying for a known but not publicly acknowledged wear and tear defect on my otherwise perfect 5 year old MBP. Is there an official way to file an Aus Consumer claim or is it up to the seller?

This is at the Morningside police station now. If they don’t find an owner it’ll come back to me and I’ll donate it to Apple Carindale to either find the owner or recycle/refurb.

Sick of people calling everything in crypto a Ponzi scheme. Some crypto projects are pump and dump schemes, while others are pyramid schemes. Others are just standard issue fraud. Others are just middlemen skimming of the top. Stop glossing over the diversity in the industry.

I mean it’s not all bad: he’s not very bright so maybe he’ll just ruin the product entirely. We do need to move past this age of giant social media firehouses anyway (I, as a cog, am an unhappy-but-too-lazy-to-quit part). Some motivation will help. Eg I barely use FB these days.

Accidentally bought this beer called ‘Rad’ of the type ‘rad ale’ (spoiler: that is not a real beer style). Turns out it is not in fact RED ale despite the logo colour, but some kind of bland xpa? Feels like ‘old person who didn’t read the can properly’ bait. V disappoint.
