👀 Photos last week at the Tule River Viaduct, south of Corcoran. You can see the forest AND the trees! Those branches of rebar will reinforce one of the lower edge beams. The beam is thicker than workers standing upright! >500 cubic yards of concrete were poured. #BuildHSR

Recently, progress was made on the intrusion protection barrier (IPB wall) near the Conejo Viaduct, that will span 3,400+ ft wide, 40 ft tall, & up to 5 ft thick. Crews can been seen tying rebar, installing formwork, & placing concrete to form the wall. #FactFriday #BuildHSR

Check out the recent progress from the Conejo Viaduct! You can see workers installing upper edge beam reinforcement at the structure. Ironworkers continue to tie rebar to form the upper edge beam on top of the viaduct. #BuildHSR

At the Hanford Viaduct, crews recently placed concrete to form the diaphragm between the set girders. The diaphragms help lock the two spans of girders together. To date, crews have placed 242 of the 978 pre-cast concrete girders needed for the superstructure of the viaduct.
