📈 Central Valley construction labor numbers are in for W/E February 3. 👷 We’re at 1,096 daily-workers for the week due to continued rain. 🏗️ Construction workers spend on average nearly 100 days on the job sites. 🚧 More on progress at buildhsr.com #BuildHSR

👀 Photos last week at the Tule River Viaduct, south of Corcoran. You can see the forest AND the trees! Those branches of rebar will reinforce one of the lower edge beams. The beam is thicker than workers standing upright! >500 cubic yards of concrete were poured. #BuildHSR

At its foundation, high-speed rail is about connecting people. So it was delightful to see and hear from everyone at Sunday’s Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile! 🥕🍓🚄 Thank you for stopping by to talk high-speed rail with us! #BuildHSR

Recently, progress was made on the intrusion protection barrier (IPB wall) near the Conejo Viaduct, that will span 3,400+ ft wide, 40 ft tall, & up to 5 ft thick. Crews can been seen tying rebar, installing formwork, & placing concrete to form the wall. #FactFriday #BuildHSR

At the Hanford Viaduct, crews recently placed concrete to form the diaphragm between the set girders. The diaphragms help lock the two spans of girders together. To date, crews have placed 242 of the 978 pre-cast concrete girders needed for the superstructure of the viaduct.
