    Evangelicals: People using exaggerated language to score political points is the worst. Also Evangelicals: If you let two men get married, you also have to let women fuck giraffes. There is no middle ground, they will destroy our families!

    Some of us have found that using exaggerated language on Twitter to describe the views of people we disagree with is really effective for attention, retweets, and new followers. It’s terrible for our souls and very unloving towards other brothers and sisters.

    I think I was 24. Not that long ago, when someone is going through a really hard time- must be demons, right? That’s the reasoning behind it. No lie -they “cast out the spirit of “weird” from me. I know some people are told they have demons as kids. Awful

    Also if a POC is telling you, a white person, that your response as a supposed ally could have been better or is straight up problematic, and that makes you uncomfortable? Deal with it. Look inwardly at your discomfort. It is not my job to make you COMFORTABLE.
