@c_althaus@PLOSONE not inevitable. The pursuit of speed exacerbates the problem... not everything is "BREAKING!". Regrettable, certainly.
@andrewnoymer @plosone Pursuit of size plays into it as well. Others, like @thePeerJ, are doing well so far.
