@trvrb The only major hurdle seems to be recognition, ie permanent/citable, a github system where we reference commits could also solve this

@svscarpino I don’t know about this. I can see an argument for keeping the scientific literature “pristine”.

@trvrb do you mean by not citing works that haven't been peer reviewed? If so, physics made a lot of progress by dispensing with this idea.

@svscarpino I mean that not every analysis must be citable. A preprint should definitely be. A blog post, maybe doesn't have to be.

@trvrb agreed, but maybe it would be better if they were citable? Especially if the post presents data or methods?
