Could be due to the specific test or the waning of antibodies. Seroprevalence studies should be done shortly after infections occurred.

yeah... and regarding antibody concentration fading: the first study in Kupferzell was done in 20 May - 9 June, so at most three months after infection... I'm surprised Ab wouldn't be detectable, but I'm not up-to-date. Assuming that's the reason (and Euroimmun test is reliable):
