  I think the only why the federal council can still save its credibility is if Koch's role is given to the "Science Taskforce". The German setup where the RKI is reasonably independent from the government seems to be the best solution.

  Science is clearly instrumentalized by politics. It is to be expected. I kind of miss politicians taking decisions because of other considerations (eg 'we believe the social benefits of opening schools are larger than the epidemiologic risks')

  Probably they don’t know how to find scientific papers. It is easier just to informally talk to some MDs. I strongly recommend you to directly inform them. I am very much cocerned about the upcoming opening of schools!

  Trust is built if your partner listens, is sympathetic & takes you seriously. Nothing I could say from the #BAG IMO kids and parents (and teachers) are used as guinea pigs or so called alpha tester. Not reassuring at all. So my decision still is, I‘ll keep my kids here.
