Unless there is conclusive evidence, that children are not relevant, it seems prudent to assume that they are.

I’m sure we’ve had Covid in our house. Adults sore throat, cough headache fatigue lasted 10 to 14 days. 14 year old, sore throat, stomach cramps and back ache.. lasted a few days and tired the next week.

Little reason to doubt that children can get COVID-19. The critical question for policy is whether they spread it effectively. Their overwhelmingly mild symptoms and the New South Wales school study would suggest they don’t. An important question to research!
