I agree we need to better prepare however I would nuance your adverb “probably” to “possibly” since today there are no clear sign of any pandemic start: No sustained outbreak anywhere out of China. No country with doubling time below 1 wk. Diamond Princess is the only exception.
My presumption is that in order to see two deaths out of nothing, there must be considerable community spread going on already.

Seems like a reasonable hypothesis, but also odd we haven't had a case out of Europe or UK in like a week despite the "Super Spreader." Additionally the pace of increase hasn't been robust anywhere outside China, but Japan bares watching.
