Thanks Christian, I'm a bit frustrated by their public website stating that 'on average 2 persons are infected if contact would occur'.
That’s the current state of knowledge. We showed this in one of those preprint that later got published in @Eurosurveillanc.

Thanks - there's a lot of variation in estimates; I found the preprint late last week quite interesting where they modeled the effectiveness of 'lockdown'. Obviously this affects "observable R0". Actually they suggest R0 >6. Did you read that paper (just aiming to learn).

R0 > 6 doesn‘t make sense. Most credible studies agree on an R0 between 2 and 3 during the early phase of the epidemic in Wuhan.
