Little advances from preprints? I disagree with that. While there is indeed a lot of mediocre science, several key papers on incubation time, R0, serial interval, doubling time, international spread, patient charateristics and disease severity have been published as preprints.

They are literally personal Petri dishes we carry around everywhere. Kind of defeats the purpose of washing your hands if you touch your dirty phone afterwards. 9/10 PSAs on hygiene I’ve seen don’t mention this. It’s unbelievable that this is being overlooked.
