  1. FInal: Columbia 6, ECU 3. Check back for recap.

  2. That's the game! Cline fans Lowery and secures game one win. Columbia is on the winner's bracket with its second-ever postseason win.

  3. Cline's sinker is hitting today. He strikes out leadoff batter in the eighth, and the Lions are five outs away from the winners bracket.

  4. Maguire flashes leather to save at least a run. After committing 2 errors earlier, he makes a diving stop and flips to Cline for last out.

  5. Check that - there are two away for Cline.

  6. Thanopoulos plunks Garrett Brooks, putting two on with only one away. The righty exits the game after 5.1 and Cline comes in on relief.

  7. Ingle got a bit of a tough break. The freshman induced a potential double play ball and a pop-up, but errors on both scored a total of four.

  8. A dinky pop-up proves too much for ECU's left fielder Lowery to hang on to. Two more come across and Ingle leaves the game.

  9. Paller walks, and the ducks are on the pond for Falcone, who leads the team in RBIs and home runs.

  10. An error scores two, and it's 4-3 with two on and two away. It's Paller up, looking to further the damage in the frame.

  11. And Savage draws a walk. It's bases loaded for Serena with the Lions down 3-2. ECU will make another pitching change.

  12. With the bases loaded for Savage, a passed ball scores Craig from third. Savage way ahead in count. It's 3-0 with two on, one away.

  13. Kanemaru chops one to left field, pushing Vandercook to third base and chasing 's starter Kruczynski from the game. One away.

  14. An error gets another run across, and leads 3-1. Cline is getting loose in bullpen for the Lions.

  15. Tyler's single knocks in two. goes up 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth.

  16. Thanopoulos runs into trouble again in the fourth. The bases are loaded with two outs for 's Eric Tyler. He's 0-1 on the day.

  17. For the second-straight inning, the Lions strand two runners to end the inning. Still 1-0.

  18. Thanopoulos makes quick work of , using only seven pitches. Serena will lead things off when we return.

  19. Columbia can't make anything of Vandercook's leadoff double, and we go to the bottom of the second.

  20. Vandercook takes his first pitch off the wall in right center and makes it to second standing up. Kanemaru up to bat.
