    Ontarians begin downloading their "enhanced" vaccine certificates today (with QR code) based on birth month. Today (15): Jan. Feb. March April Tomorrow (16): May Jun. July Aug. Sunday (17): Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec. The biz. scanning the code are still asked to confirm with ID.

    “The rules are very, very simple. If you want to travel, you have to be vaccinated.” - - also adding the federal liberals will make it a criminal offence to harass healthcare workers.

    Federal employees have to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 29, or they will be suspended *without pay* Travellers over age 12, will need be fully vaccinated to board a plane or train in Canada as of Nov. 30. Testing will no longer be an option.

    By Nov. 30 you have to be fully vaccinated to board a plane or train in Canada. By Oct 29th you need to be fully vaccinated if you’re a federal public servant. One month grace period: present negative test or vax. proof. After Nov. 30, only vax proof.

    Press release just now confirms an investigation is underway: “these behaviours are unacceptable & will not be tolerated.” Police now reviewing social media/footage, working to identify students involved & anyone who committed crimes. No charges laid yet

    Just now, I was struggling to carry two larger boxes to a Westboro post office. A woman walking by stopped & offered to walk with me, just so she could open the door. A small act of kindness, probably, to her. To me, far from small. If you’re reading this, thank you again ❤️

    (2/2) I am choked to know this will be the reality for so many families tomorrow already suffering more than you can imagine and amid a pandemic. Simply put, the trauma isn’t one you can understand unless you’ve been there. Protesting is a right, but please, not at hospitals.

    (1/2) Personal take here. After years fighting cancer(s) my dad died in April. I spent the better part of the last year inside hospital rooms. The thought of him so sick having to wrestle by protestors to get chemo or for us to visit him in his last days is heartbreaking.

    There are protests planned for tomorrow outside hospitals across Canada, including the Ottawa Hospital.
