    I keep hearing people compare Biden to Jeb Bush. Wrong. Bush never really led any polling like Biden. Biden is Romney: the establishment candidate that the party kind of doesn't want to nominate but eventually shrugs its shoulders & accepts the inevitable

    So far doesn't seem to be any political downside to the wealth tax, which polls well, targets limited group of ultra-rich, and is easy to explain. The real obstacle is that there's a risk it would get struck down by SCOTUS and it's the main financing mechanism for her agenda.

    This is a helpful thread, explaining that the California shooter was steeped in a very specific form of anti-Semitism and disdained conservatives for being inadequately far-right.

    Like, this is all still very much steeped in European/white nationalist antisemitism. He's *VERY* explicit on that point, that God has called him to defend white Europeans. But it's white nationalist *Christianity.*
