Mussolini originally gained power by mirroring traditional anarchist "propaganda of the act" tactics. He was an Marxist-lenninist before transitioning. So many of the tactics by antifa and on the ground fascist groups can be similar.

You make a reasonable point that he learned some of his strategies from leftist groups, but you should remember that Antifa is not necessarily anarchists or Marxist/ Leninists, and while there is overlap they are different and their goals are different. It really makes no sense

to call Antifa authoritarian or fascist. To say they sometimes will use some similar tactics is accurate- but also can be misleading. Their similarities are often exaggerated and their differences minimized, ultimately creating a false narrative.

...and the populous are so educated that there would be little rational basis to do so. Such that any reactionaries protesting would present no threat as their numbers would be small. That's why I'm constantly calling out ancoms and Marx-lens on my social media.

Regardless it's a fascinating discussion and I love having it, even in the abstract.
