  2. During law school, I worked with staff who now leads the merger shop overseeing oil & gas deals. I guarantee our incredible staff is not letting harmful deals through. staff should not become a scapegoat for politicians.

  6. Today voted to seek comment on a proposed rule addressing impersonation fraud. This fraud costs consumers billions of dollars annually and has no legitimate business justification.

  9. I have long expressed concern about the negative impacts of rulemaking. My general aversion to rulemaking is rooted in historical experience, but there are many reasons to be concerned.

  15. The pandemic demonstrated the benefits of rolling back restrictions on cross-border provider services and telehealth. Minimizing these regulations has long been a goal of the , as I wrote about early in the pandemic.
