Introducing our newest Matador, Chris Carter!
A 6-5 wing, Carter was named Desert League Co-MVP this past season for Shadow Hills High School in Indio, CA. He also won a CIF-SS Div 3A title in 2020.
Rounding out the class is a 6-9 forward, Johnnie Walter. Last season, Walter averaged 17 points and 5 rebounds for the Hotchkiss School, a postgrad school in Connecticut.
A 6-10 forward, Dearon Tucker has played for Oregon State and Indiana State in his collegiate career. He was was a part of Oregon State's Elite 8 run two seasons ago.
A sharpshooting guard from Canada, Cam Slaymaker finished up his high school career at London Basketball Academy. He would provide plenty of offense this past season including scoring 56 points in a game.
Originally from the Senegal, Lamine Niang prepped at Central Pointe Christian Academy in Florida. He helped the team make the state final four this past season.
Ethan Igbanugo has played in 90 career D-1 games with the University of North Dakota. He has scored 531 career points while he has made 36.3 percent of his 3-point attempts.
De'Sean Allen-Eikens played in 52 career games with the University of North Dakota and the University of New Orleans. He has scored 561 points in his D-1 career!
Introducing the Matador Recruiting Class!
Adam Afifi was named Coast South Conference Player of the Year and a first-team all-state selection at West Valley College. He averaged 17.2 points, 8.7 rebounds this past year.
