    Snow squalls are possible with a cold front late this afternoon and evening. The main threat is on I-70 west of Denver from 4 to 8 pm, with heavy showers also possible south of Denver this evening. Keep an eye on the weather and be ready to delay travel for a few hours!

    All areas of Larimer County are blanketed with snow. We are seeing patchy dense fog in areas. The road conditions vary with snow, ice and slush. Please give yourself extra time this morning, slow your speeds, increase following distance and always wear your seatbelt

    Snowshowers have developed over the foothills, to move to the I-25 corridor this afternoon/evening. Mostly 1 to 3 inches in the I-25 corridor, but there could be locally higher amounts in stronger snow squalls. Slippery roads for the evening commute.

    I-25 shut down at Mulberry (exit 269) for semi vs pickup involved crash with significant injuries. Detour west Mulberry to Timberline north, to Mountain Vista.

    Our Troopers have assisted multiple motorists this morning who had mechanical issues. -4 degrees is hard on vehicles so please ensure you are prepared incase of a breakdown. We want you to be safe. If possible, pull your vehicle over to the right shoulder.

    In the coming days we will see below zero temperatures in the mornings. Don't leave your vehicle unattended and running.

    A running, unattended car is an invitation for thieves to check it out. Criminals will seize an opportunity to steal anything they see inside the car, even if they can’t steal the car itself.
