    indeed, this is where the basic problem lies. Not in the technology but in the lack of research in both the fundamentals of what people are buying and basic 'financial literacy' in knowing when/how to take a risk. This isn't just a crypto thing, this is a capitalism thing

    This is really sad. We have a VP of Boeing running the largest military machine in the world. Jobs like Sec Def, UN rep, Attorney General used to be aspirational. Capstones of great careers. Now we have the junior varsity. Like watching the NFL during the strike season.

    Every once in a while Peter drops a nice nugget; fwiw, thinking same. Just like '07/'08 market broke in '07 but public didn't 'feel the pain' till well into '08. I have a sneaky suspicion '18 market breaks, but we feel the real pain of 'stock market crash' in '19

    It the current U.S. stock market at the same point the U.S. stock market was in Jun 1930. If so we are have another 80% decline ahead of us. Not to scare anyone -- just saying.
