Fantastic to see this review published in as part of the special collection I have been guest editing. A very insightful read, prepared by Prof Jean Bourbeau and Dr. Carlos Echevarria. 👏👏

The suggested models of future care are highly relevant. We may see a shift in pts characteristics - the population is beginning to change. Sometimes younger, different exposures, lifestyle choices, & ..expectations. What will be meaningful to them over the next decade...?

Me too, thanks for highlighting. What did you think of the rationale for worse mortality?

Possibly case mix, as intervention functionally worse. Also in high risk population where mortality events are high, increasing the likelihood of error (not powered or stratified). In needless self-promotion there is an accompanying editorial discussing!

The type of exercise did not influence the impact of exercise on fatigue, which was reduced in endurance, resistance, or a combination of both exercises, enabling clinicians to personalize training to match targeted outcomes.

This is an interesting read, both in terms of the reported primary outcomes (patient, not carer orientated), and the age of the data. I wonder if the results would be different now with patient/carer support groups & carer empowerment.
