    Would like to thank the team at Sherwood Forest for the excellent response to my daughters accident on Friday as we were entering the parc. You all are a credit to the organisation and we’re very grateful for all the help and kindness we received.

    Robins are brave, friendly birds and easy to hand tame, if you have one in your garden try offering it some dried mealworms to try and entice it closer to you – if you’re lucky you may be able to eventually hand feed it

    Whilst checking out a couple of pairs of Long-tailed Tit nest building at this beautiful Orange Underwing flew past me and landed in a gorse bush. And then I found the Oak Beauty in one of the staff rooms. Good day for moths!
