If he knows that Venezuela is suffering, he could stop imposing U.S. dictated sanctions against them, but this is not about aid, it's about a coup attempt. Our tax dollars are going to mafia style politics on behalf of the U.S.

Why would we be doing this? Isn't Venezuela sitting on massive oil reserves? It isn't a poor country their politics have made them so....they need a change in politicians not more borrowed money from Canadians.

Thought that you did not have money to take homeless and mentally ill Canadians off the street and give them a meal. Thought that Vets ask for more than Can could afford. Where are you getting this money from

$53 million DOLLARS?! Where is this money coming from? Taxpayers????? Don't think taxpayers would be happy knowing their money is being thrown at a foreign country for "humanitarian reasons" lmao GTFO

As a tax payer I actually believe this is finally a decent use of our money IF it actually goes towards helping the people and not just into the pockets of the new government there.

This is fucken embarrassing we have participated in allowing Venezuelan’s Elite to produce some of the world poorest, poor over decades for ‘cheap oil’ now we are going to give $53 million to what the poor? Not even close to a drop of water for someone dying of thirst. Hypocrite

They are building water facilities as fast as they can, even if its not fast enough. The problem is not funding, as the money is fully available for that.
