There are several layers to this. While irritating I would like creators to keep in mind that Social Media regulations from the Government are something coming more into play. Recent changes in policy are not arbitrary, they are part of a new norm the platform doesn’t even want

The platform is cleary separating who is "ordinary and normal user" to YT celebs and brands. We, normal guys, don't get the checkmark. I hate conspiracy theories, but If is not the stablishment taking back control with other rich families in the globe, I don't know what it is.

It’s them avoiding another set of fines from the Government... It’s also not that big a deal. I will remind you of when the Media decided who PewDiePie follows counts as an “endorsement”... Remember that? This is not YouTubes fault at all...
