I'm conflicted with Terms for congress for that reason but then an incumbant has MANY advantages that make it hard to get them out once in. Yeh, term limits need to be looked at.

I dunno....I'm kind of partial to changing a politician -- including the President -- when we're dissatisfied with the current one or when the other side can legitimately put up someone better.

We used to have the power to do that until 17th amemdment when the States Legislators ratified 17 and gave up their representation in congress.
