We are hopeful that more Democrats will be open to limiting the power of the feds, since GOP has control of federal government.

Simple majority versus political calculus is definitely a good thing in a Democracy.

I've seen "riots" under many Presidents. I've seen PROTESTS as well. Our country is still here.

Your argument is based on logic that urban and rural areas must be voting blocks. I vote for Pres as US citizen regardless.
