That just isnt true.
If “the people” act, stay #engaged by accessing #information, voicing their #opinion, #sharing it w/others, then #voting.. they create the BIG govt (roads, schools, food safety, bridges, buses, coast guard, military...) And that’s what #Democracy looks like!
Fortunately, the Founders had a solution.
