Despite what Mark said, only Congress can call a convention and THEY would be in charge. This is a very dangerous situation. Mark claims to want to limit the fed’s power: it’s already limited. Read the Constitution and see.

The Founders created Convention of States process explicitly to bypass an oppressive Congress, so why would they put Congress in charge? As always, history and legal precedent are our guide. Learn more herehttps://conventionofstates.com/news/the-states-not-congress-control-a-convention-of-states …

Be more wary Pete. Contrary to what Meckler said, once a convention is convened, the Constition is no longer a ratified document. Yes it can be kept but Amendments can also be repealed as well as added. In fact the whole thing can be torn up. Sorry. I trust Madison before Meckler

Thought provoking! If socialism became policy, wouldn’t it be contrary to the US Constitution? What would Supreme Court base their rulings on? And how then could our president be referred to as the leader of the “free” world?

I must disagree with COS... very dangerous for the Republic to allow tinkering with the Constitution. They don't follow it now... they won't follow your amendments either.
