Alan Greenspan didn't want us getting richer & stated it outright saying too many middle class were acquiring too much wealth after we were swindled into indivdual retirement accounts and began making money in the stock market. Plus we used to get 5-8% on savings.
Before big government, our country was headed in the right direction. Median income was rising and debt was stable. After?
