Elected congressional representatives are no longer working to make law. Most are working to stay in power & in office. Transparency and respectful debate are required of the members. No more closed door meetings - debate the issues so the people can see where our reps stand.
Congress has ceded much of its decision-making authority to a group of men and women who were not voted in and can't be voted out. These bureaucrats decide whether farmers will be prosecuted for using water on their land and what state govs can do with taxpayer dollars. #YIKES
