I supported term limits before I was elected to the Senate, but I have to say, having spent six years here, having seen firsthand what happens in the United States Congress, I now support term limits a thousand times more: https://action.tedcruz.org/term-limits/

What limits are proposed by the COS vs the limits proposed in the Bill? Will limits hinder moving from one branch to another in order to skirt the limits? Will retirement pay be changed to reflect the change in potential longevity of a seat? How will the transition be funded?

I'd rather repeal 16A & 17A. If cost of government apportioned among the states, support for illegal immigration vanishes. If senators appointed by governors & represent state legislatures, unfunded mandates disappear. These 2 amendments created the environment for huge gov.

The founders anticipated the problems we see today & structured the Constitution to prevent them. I support 2 amendments 1. Balanced Budget 2. 8yr non-gov job requirement for House & 12yrs for Senate like occurred when Constitution written.
