#TermLimitsNow: Overwhelming bipartisan majorities of Americans support this common sense reform, and I very much hope that Congress will listen and enact the will of the people --> https://action.tedcruz.org/term-limits/

85% of Americans want term limits, but Congress will never listen. Fortunately the Founding Fathers gave us a second way, and 13 states are already on board!http://www.conventionofstates.com

We can get an amendment through Congress and ratified by states if enough people put pressure on their representatives —and if 85% of the population starts voting against them, they won't be able to ignore us. #NoConCon

We're not waiting on Congress anymore, and we can't expect them to vote themselves out of a job. The last time Congress even held a vote on term limits was 7 years ago, and it was defeated 24-75. Cruz is simply building an email list without getting behind a real solution.

We can and SHOULD expect them to "vote themselves out of a job" if people ask them to, because they are OUR representatives. And we have a duty to enforce this expectation by voting out representatives who ignore their constituents.

A COS would not be a true representation of Americans, because many state legislatures are heavily biased by unchecked gerrymandering. It could easily be abused.
