The founders intended Congress to be a Citizen government where representatives would rotate through government bringing new, fresh ideas to debate as well as also returning to live by the laws they enacted. Professional politicians destroy this premise.
Does our United States Congress need #TermLimits in order to prevent a buildup of corruption and DC power politics in our Capitol?

I am a firm believer there are conversations that need to be had as it relates to term limits that we are not having. As a result, I believe if we pass term limits we will do so to our own detriment, or to no effect at all if we’re lucky.

#TermLimits is extremely important. I would like to see some kind of judicial reform and we must address the immense bureaucracy.#TermLimits on them would be great. We already have term limits of 2yrs for Representatives & 6 yrs for Senators. What we lack is the intended vigilant electorate. A term limit Amendment just addresses the symptoms. We do need to repeal 17A to return to political Senators instead of a political Senate.

Six-year terms are too long. Max should be four years for senators. If media were honest, ppl might vote differently. But they are fed propaganda 24/7 on liberal media.
