A double edged sword. Term limits build a hidden group of staff advisors with legacy knowledge of issues and process. 18 year terms for Supremes might have more impact.

Congress as a body will NEVER term limit themselves. It’s nice we have some people trying to advance this, but the majority (Rs & Ds) will never allow this amendment to originate with them. States calling a convention is the only way.
