The federal government contributes on average 7% of local public school funding. Mostly that is Free School Lunches and Title 1 of the ESEA, which were part of LBJ’s War on Poverty #GreatSociety

Without social security and Medicare most seniors would be terrified. Without the road and bridge department commuters would be terrified. Without police and the military we would all be terrified.
