Absolutely! We as a nation are acting without really knowing. Most do not know the constitution or the roles of branches of govt.

This circus is a direct result of the 17th Amendment. The Senate has turned into a farce as chaos has ensued. Senators should be appointed by and held accountable to the State Legislature. Time to seriously look at rescinding the 17th Amendment and restore the original text.
