I think you should try watching the simulated debate. The delegates that will be sent will be motivated to get the job done. I would love to see it done in a week! Even 2 would be fantastic!

This is not a small project. They need to take the time to fully debate each item. Some will pass quickly. Some will fail quickly. Some will spark heated debate. What comes out of convention then has to be ratified by 38 states to be added to the Constitution.

I'm sure with a little google search, you could find them. I suggest watching the simulated convention to see the process and the final results.

Oh no. They actually proposed Amendments, debated the language, and voted on them. I used to have the text of what passed, but I can't find it now.

What came out of the simulation isn't necessarily what would be produced at the real thing, so the actual text of what passed isn't critical.

The primary focus of the simulation is to show the process. It demonstrates how they take a proposal and fine tune it through debate. They vote on changes, then finally vote on the finished text. Since it's just a simulation, the text isn't critical.
