Well, protect the rights we collectively agreed upon. Rights are made by man. People try to say that they are God-granted, but Scripture doesn't seem to support this idea. Actually, Scripture demands that we submit to our governments. That said, I support liberty completely.

Rights and religion were made by man, yes. However, those natural rights for which we hold dear should be preserved by the government, not bestowed by the government. Whether or not they come from a god is irrelevant.
