    These 6 barn owlets were found by a property owner as he was tearing down his silo. They were moved to a new silo — luckily it appears that the adults have found them as there were 4 fresh prairie voles on the ground nearby! We love it when everything works out. 🦉

    Curious how we have this photo? The bear had been trapped and relocated by CPW as a yearling bear in 2015. Since then, she had reared cubs and seemed to be doing fine in her new location. No reports of conflicts with this bear have been reported to us.

    Good news from the near Durango. officers rescued a bear cub with burned feet. We're now treating it at our Frisco Creek facility and it will go back to the wild next winter.

    It's been a busy day. Very proud of our team! 👏

    Our officers responded to a report of a moose in Westminster. The moose was a 400lb yearling. We've tranquilized it and are safely relocating it to the Fairplay area. Thanks (and to the community) for the help!
