No but I think it's def easier to tell a bad joke the darker you get

Comedy has no limits. If people laugh, it’s a good joke. If people don’t laugh, it’s a bad joke and you’ll be called sexist/racist/homophobic, etc.

Very well said comedy has no limits but very few comics can actually push it that far. Examples? Joey Diaz, Tom Segura, Bill Burr, Norm McDonald, Sam kinneson, George Carlin, even Pryor was good at this.
