I’ve had it with the idea that we’re tired, and we can’t take the time to get this right. There are people across Maine right now working two shifts, and we can’t keep going in order to collect the evidence we need to uphold our oaths? Give me a break.

If there are 3 Republican Senators in favor of witnesses, will Roberts cast the deciding vote to break the tie?

Lamar Alexander just announced: 1. The Democrats have proven their case on the facts. 2. He needs no more witnesses to know #1 is true. So what would you expect his response to be?!

. disappointed a lot of folks who thought better of him before tonight, but at least he agreed that the House Managers overwhelmingly proved — even without witnesses or further evidence — that President Trump did exactly what they accused him of doing.

I met a fully functioning, highly-competent, Philadelphia-born young adult today who had never *heard* of Mr. Rogers. And the rest of what is happening in the news suddenly made a lot more sense.

Today we heard witness testimony in an American courtroom about how many seconds a human can hold their breath such that waterboarding might not be torture.

Trump Counsel says it would be “obviously intolerable” if Congress had the power to force POTUS to testify. But SCOTUS held that Clinton had to testify in the Paula Jones case. Executive privilege has no place where it is being used to shelter a president from scrutiny.

Ironic that Trump's obstruction of Congress is preventing the Senate from properly trying him for, among other things, obstruction of Congress! See my piece in the today.

This is a horrendous statistic, one that Americans need to understand. We have become accustomed to mass shootings we think they happen all over the world. They don’t, and we can change this once the political will is there.
