The problem with mental policies is once a person is over 18 the family has no say if they receive or need treatment ,if anyone knows when a person isn't behaving properly it's family members but their hands are tied by rule of law,it needs to b changed if people are to get help.

I beg to differ. The first hint they are a danger to themselves or somebody else, they sure will do something! Being crazy isnt enuf of a reason to institutionalize somebody. There aren't enuf beds. The system is still severely broken imho. ESPECIALLY at the state hospital level.
