This interviewer is trash. She's literally imposing her perspective on Ocasio-Cortez. Hack.

Is it just me or does the MSM (with the exception of a few brilliant journalists) seem to constantly trash the Democratic Party, while allowing the Republican Party to commit amoral acts and establish harmful policies with very little consequence?
-
It's not just you. The media bias against Democrats is insane.
-
I don't know if it's bias so much as stirring up the pot gets them ratings. That's all it's about for them. They don't care if they destroy the country as long as they get good ratings.
-
it's BOTH.

Why is the media trying to create a false narrative that her win (well done, AOC) translates into disarray in the Dem party? It is journalism malpractice.
-
Steve Kornacki was pushing that hard last night. I'm so over this narrative. There isn't disarray in the party. AOC won because she did what winners do: Be a good candidate w/ local roots Run a comprehensive ground campaign Pick a strong platform & stick to it Show up to debatespic.twitter.com/MmBjCgJW2y

Well said!
-
Also, I'd be willing to bet that the incumbent was a bit complacent. 10 terms? I'm sure they saw this woman as an upstart who was full of wishful thinking. That's what getting cocky and complacent will do for ya.
-
He definitely did That's what that bit about "show up to debates" was about. He skipped 2 of their debates b/c he didn't think she was worthy of notice. I didn't post hardly any about this race b/c I knew she had it in the bag: Personable, local, Latina running in Brx&Qns? Donepic.twitter.com/R3mARlDAHn

If media continue to say the Dems are divided, we will make it so. And yet, I've been hearing return of the "Bernie would've won" argument. Bronx/Queens are lucky & she fits the district, but extrapolating to the rest of the country & then fighting about it is self-destructive.

The thing is they are progressive democrats and CNN supports only corporate, mainstream Dems. To CNN candidates like this woman are interlopers and must be discredited. They appeal to mainstream Dems by saying look, these people are upsetting the status quo, they are intruders.
-
Just like they did to Bernie.

Sue how many times would yo say you’ve tweeted this if you had to guess? Is it in the hundreds yet? It also has nothing to do with the point being made. Cool have a good one.
-
Bernie still gets nothing but fawning coverage. They STILL have him on more than ant other democrat. Don't try and pretend the media treats him with anything but kids gloves.
-
Cool maybe that has something to do with his position as chair of voter outreach for the Democratic Party? And thanks for the random Bernie bash but that doesn’t have anything to do with what I’m talking about.
-
Responding to Keri's initial point, which was the point of the thread. Cool, have a good one.
