    We had a boy, y’all. My son, Ricardo Antonio Valencia. Named after grandpa, & my dad, who died when I was 17. Technically he’s the III, but we thought that might be too pretentious. He can decide on his own. We’re calling him Ricky, but my daughter calls him “Ricky Ricardo.” ♥️

    Four years after Hurricane Harvey, I’m still lucky enough to get messages like this from viewers. I’m humbled by it all and reminds me of how lucky I am to work with amazing people.

    Really like the way reports from disasters such as hurricanes. I remember his suggestion cameras would not cast their gaze as an Alzheimer's patient was evacuated during the Houston floods. As someone who had a parent with dementia, I respect that so much.

    My taxi driver was a CNN viewer & recognized me. “It’s you! Nick Valencia!” Then he paused, “Your head was hurt. Is your head OK?” I didn’t know what he meant. Then I realized he was talking about last year when I came out about my mental health 🥰Our viewers are the best!!! ❤️

    In Waverley,Tennessee a home picked up off its foundation by water— carrying it into an Exxon gas station— I found a yearbook outside the house possibly from 1965 according to a note addressed to “Judie”on the inside.
