Guns aren't the issue here. The person was motivated by Trump's Nazi-like rhetoric. "Infestation" language preceded genocides in Sudan and Bosnia, and Trump adopted it against Hispanics. He knew exactly what kind of hate he was inspiring.

Guns are the issue. Without such extreme weapons it would barely matter how deluded someone was. They couldn't get hold of a lethal instrument to kill with their hatred. One day laws will protect Americans. I hope it is soon.
