In an interview with Fox News, Goya Foods CEO Robert Unanue said he was “not apologizing” for praising President Trump at the White House. He also called the boycott of his company’s products “suppression of speech.”https://cnn.it/326sDmS

A boycott is the public's freedom of speech.

Absolutely right. But is a boycott a fair reaction to a differing opinion? That is the more relevant question. And even if it is in this case, we are seeing the level of disagreement necessary become less and less over time, so I think there is an important conversation here

Another one who doesn't understand how freedom of speech works. It doesn't mean freedom from consequences.

No a suppression of his speech, but instead the reaction of folks who have the choice to support businesses as they see fit.

No, he is free to say anything he wants, just as consumers are free to buy other brands.

I’m switching brands today. I’m buying Goya and I’m going to buy stock in the company because it’s going to skyrocket

People choosing not to buy your food isn't "suppression of speech." It's a act of free expression by your customers that are plainly telling you they don't support your public statements. Simple.
