Ban High Fructose Corn Syrup. Ever since it was introduced into the food chain, obesity rates have skyrocketed. And it’s in virtually every form of processed food. (Artificial sweeteners don’t help either.)

Then stop encouraging them to eat crap. Subsidizing Tier-1 CPG companies to put their crap in schools
full of sugar and carbs. Portion control is unheard of in the US. Creating an entire generation of Type-2 Diabetics. Worse than climate change.

Do you want a better addition onto this story? How about looking into the school lunch menus and seeing what the kids are being offered every day as their nutritional meal. School provided meals are loaded with sugar and carbs, minimal protein, and almost non-existent veggies
