If the TSA Workers walked out for 24 to 48 hours nationwide. This shutdown Would End. I commend ALL TSA Workers for what they do each day. But short staff and less pat downs now terrorists have a green light to by pass TSA.

Ladies and Gents 2020 is next year. Election year Mr Trump lives in a bubble and wants to be re-elected. But At this rate. More indictments
-
It wouldn’t be TSA workers you’d want walking out as much as Air Traffic Controllers. If every ATC walked out on the 16th, the day after their pay date, all air traffic would be grounded. Bring the country to a complete halt.
-
Personal and business travelers, UPS, FedEx etc would have to stop part of their business for the shut down. It’s more than just government if any ATC walks off the job and some already are.
-
It's just a matter of time before it happens...

Shows how detached Washington is from people living week to week. They work for us and are paid by us. It’s time we remind them of that

This is the type of nonviolent protest that Americans need to do more often. Civil disobedience is our duty.

When you work for the federal government you do so knowing this can happen. Time to hire new TSA employees. Bet the wait list is pretty long.
-
Just what everyone wants: a non-paying job.

Unfortunately, working for the Federal gov’t, you knowingly take that risk. They should tread lightly on calling in “sick” to work. The last time airport workers tried to strike, Reagan fired almost 12,000 of the 13,000 air traffic controllers.https://www.politico.com/story/2008/08/reagan-fires-11-000-striking-air-traffic-controllers-aug-5-1981-012292 …

You don’t need to post this a million times
-
One million and one sounds better: It’s actually amazing how many people don’t know that it’s illegal for Federal employees to strike.
-
Cool. Let 45 start firing people for the audacity of expecting a paycheck and we'll see how that works out for him and his party.

How long would you stay at your current employer if you were working and not getting a check deposited?

Shutdown air travel out of DC see how quickly a deal is reached.
-
Nationwide strike, shutdown every airport... deal done in an hour
-
@USPS Needs to go on strike too, no mail and no plane
-
Postal Service employees don't get paid by taxes and aren't government employees so they aren't affected by the shutdown.
